I need to be able to export CPT by date from GD. The export just exports all records, what I want to be able to do is export by a date range new listings into a CSV file
I have bought WP CSV with the upgrade to allow CPT exports to a CSV but none of the fields such as address, phone, name etc are exported.
How can I export the GD records by date range to include all fields?
Thanks
Joel
June 14, 2016 at 4:43 pm #208481Hi,
WP CSV doesn’t know where to pull data from the custom tables of GeoDirectory.
Our CSV export doesn’t provide such feature.
If you wish to see this added you can submit a feature request : here.
If many other members will vote for it we will definitely consider it.
Thanks
June 17, 2016 at 8:51 pm #210540Thanks just requested this now, please could you look into ASAP? We need data each week and with 40 sites and 1 million records exporting 1 million records across 40 x csv files and then having to manually edit all of them is just not viable for our business. Ideally would like to use WP CSV as I can then integrate into our CRM automatically via zapier but it would also be really useful to just have a date range selector in GD export as I am sure a lot of users have the same issue.
Please can you look into this and advise?
Many thanks
Joel
June 17, 2016 at 9:15 pm #210558Hi,
as I said we will look into it ONLY if many other members will vote for it.
If it’s super urgent for you, you should consider hiring someone to implement this for your website.
Thanks
June 18, 2016 at 7:07 am #210972Thanks. I would be happy to pay for this development, especially if we can use WP CSV so we can integrate via zapier. I would be happy to pay you guys or if you could please forward any details of developers you work with that could help I would be very grateful Paolo
Kind regards
Joel
June 18, 2016 at 4:45 pm #211348Hi,
I’m sorry, but at the moment we have too many things in our to do list to take on custom work and I can’t suggest anyone for something like that at the moment.
This would require an expert developer.
Just FYI, Integrating WP CSV would take a lot longer then tweaking the current GD System. There would be a lot of extra work to tell WP CSV about GD custom tables and data structure.
Thanks
June 18, 2016 at 4:48 pm #211353Thanks, I appreciate you need to prioritize your time for popular requests but can you at least advise a developer that knows GD that I can approach that you know could do this? This is VERY important to our business, I dont mind paying but I do need this functionality?
Kind regards
Joel
June 18, 2016 at 5:00 pm #211391Hi Joel,
Can you please explain the point of this fully, what i the end goal of exporting listings by date range, maybe i can think of a better solution.
Thanks,
Stiofan
June 18, 2016 at 5:06 pm #211393Hi Stiofan, sure. We have imported around 1 million records across the 40 sites. We are acquiring new listings via paid marketing and social and our model is to upsell the free listings and sell other services via email and phone. In order to achieve this we need to be able to export the listings by date range so we can put these new listings into our CRM to market and sell. The problem we currently have is the existing export only allows you to export the whole database which would mean having to export all 1 million records across 40 sites to get the new listings in a cvs format.
I looked into WP CSV as it can export into a cvs via date range and integrate via zapier but I am happy to look at any options that will help us extract the data
Thanks
June 18, 2016 at 5:11 pm #211397What options do you have to import in to this CRM? Is it csv only or they have an API?
Stiofan
June 18, 2016 at 5:12 pm #211399The one we currently use is just csv, other can integrate with zapier. I dont know much about using api’s for this, are there crm’s you know that can work this way as I am open to change to get this working?
Thanks
