Category Map Icons Broken After Release 1.6.4 – SSL

    Hi:

    Before the update I added an SSL certificate to the website. Adding the SSL certificate broke the category map icon links in the back end. I had to re-add all the category map icons so they would link to https not http.

    I updated the software and Supreme theme. My category map icon links are now broken again in the back end for all my custom post types.

    The icons still show up on the map but now I get the mixed content warning on the search and listings page. I am assuming they got reset to http and not https during the update.

    What should I do? Manually fix them again or is there an easier way?

    Hi Kor:

    I did what you suggested and bizarrely it made it worse. So I did some more digging.

    I turned off GD Booster
    I did a search for http: in my code on my home page
    GEODirectory Map Cluster was http: and not https:
    Turned off plugin and I didn’t have mixed content.
    I re-enabled GEODirectory Map Cluster and it didn’t resolve to https: in my code giving me mixed content again.
    I deleted plugin and re-installed and enabled it. It still didn’t resolve to https: in my code
    THEN I re-enabled the Really Simple SSL plugin I had installed and re-SSLed my site.
    This fixed the problem so all is good.

    You probably still had a URL without https in Settings >> General.

    Just FYI.

    Hi Paulo:

    I try to be a good user. I checked Settings >> General and it is all good.

    It was just the Map Cluster plugin that was acting wonky. But it is all fixed so I am very happy and if it happens again I know what to do.

    Honestly, I am running out of issues. You guys have awesome customer service.
