Hi,
I added google map API, but the maps appear only on pages that i submitted their url on the google API manager, were it was written: “Accept requests from these HTTP referrers (web sites)…”
the rest of the maps don’t show. it doesn’t make any sense to add each page and listing of the web to google API manager.
I have also tried it with your API plugin, but nothing has changed with the maps.I would also like to know which API should be used in the directory:
Google Maps Roads API
Google Static Maps API
Google Street View Image API
Google Maps Embed API
Google Places API Web Service
Google Maps Geocoding API
Google Maps Directions API
Google Maps Distance Matrix API
Google Maps Geolocation API
Google Maps Elevation APISeptember 21, 2016 at 5:43 pm #270582Hi Nelly,
The Google Maps API Key plugin is not needed with GeoDirectory. That’s only for plugins and themes that didn’t add an option to insert the Google Maps API key after the requirement was introduced.
In the option “Accept requests from these HTTP referrers” you should enter:
*.yoursite.com/*
AND
yoursite.com
obviously change yoursite.com with your actual domain.
The 1st of the 2 options mean accept requests from yoursite.com and any subdomain or subfolders.
You can see the list of API needed at the end of this doc: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/
Let us know how it goes,
Thanks

Always open a new thread for your issues. You can always link to existing topics to explain better.
I had just split your thread. Please let me know if you still can’t see Paolo’s private reply.
Thanks
September 24, 2016 at 3:12 pm #272602Thanks Giri,
I understood the reason and can see it now.
Paolo,

September 29, 2016 at 11:14 am #275244Hi Nelly,
Looks like the problem is coming from your theme. Please switch to some other theme and let me know if you still face that slider problem.
Thanks
September 29, 2016 at 4:06 pm #275432Can i ask which sliders you guys are referring to? I see the slider widget in home page (working) and the slider in the listing details page is working too…
I’m confused. 🙂
Let me know,
Thanks
September 29, 2016 at 4:52 pm #275438Hi,
GIri – i have just switched to Twenty Twelve theme and none of the sliders worked.
Paolo – the slider on home page is your widget GD listing slider and it isn’t working with both themes.
On detail pages the slider is your automatic slider with the pictures that were uploaded from the page attachments.
Thank you both.
September 29, 2016 at 5:03 pm #275439It works for me on Firefox, not in Chrome. Stiofan says it works on both Firefox and Chrome for him which would be really weird.
I’m flagging this for him though, there are no JS error in console, so it makes impossible for me to fix it, we need the smarter ones.
Best thing would be if you could provide FTP credentials too.
Thanks for your patience
