Hi 🙂
I’m currently attempting to set up the licences for all of the addons that i have and not a single one of them is currently working.
I am getting the error;
Licence not activated! Please renew or seek supportI have contacted 1and1.co.uk and have asked them if its something to do with CURL/PHP and they have said that this isn’t the issue and that i should talk to you guys regarding this (see http://mybs5.com/phpinfo.php)
Am i missing something out? I have attempted on both my mobile and my laptop using chrome and firefox.

1and1 hosting in Germany has a problem connecting to our servers to validate the licence, you can try contacting their support but a few users have and they have been useless, i have tried everything in my power to resolve it but there is no way for me to communicate with 1and1 Germany support.
You can use this plugin to do updates if you can’t get 1and1 to solve this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/

P.S. If the person you are speaking to does not know what a “traceroute” (trace route) is then you need to speak to someone else higher up in server support.

I’m still fighting them, speaking to 3 individual people and have raised it as a “potential customer losing complaint” They might consider doing it since i have 11 websites with them currently.. we shall see.
They SEEM to be doing something.
All i want to do currently is activate the events part of the website so that i can get on with everything else but it seems it wont appear in the settings unless i activate it.
November 30, 2016 at 4:30 pm #315743We just did some updates, so you should update manually or using that plugin i suggested.
The only thing activating the licence does is to allow you to update using the normal WP update system and notify you of updates available.I really hope you can convince them to do something about it, i am here if you need help or have any questions.

December 13, 2016 at 7:15 pm #324395Finally this has been fixed. I have a support ticket number C715800660.
Now that this has been fixed i can confirm auto updates work, would you like me to ask them anything? I cant presume that this was a global fix but it may have been.
I could ask them for more information? This took me two weeks of daily calls, emails and facebook harassment but it works!
