Open Support TicketHi:
I need help with a menu, which keeps the map showing, and not just the listings.
eg. This site has what I want. http://www.muttmaps.com
It has the menu, and when a person clicks, it displays on the map, and shows the listings under the map.
thanks,
cory
That is because the GD listings widget has been added to the GD Listings TOP section.
The menu itself is added at Appearance > menus
is there a tutorial somewhere. i’m having some troubles.
Hi: i’ve attached a screenshot.
I cannot add any custom posts to the menu.
* nations
* find
* jobs, etc.
Also, how do I get the map to show when the menu is clicked.
The map disappears, and the listings show. I’m hoping to have
it look like this. muttmaps.com
thanks,
cory
sorry. here is the screenshot.
URL and admin details please.
good day. have you had a chance to look at it?
Hi,
I’ve added the missing map in GD Listings Top Section as Guust suggested.
I don’t know exactly what you want to do with your menu, but the CPT are added via GD >> Design >> Navigation and I see your CPTs in the menu.
Let us know,
Thx
Hi Paolo:
I”m trying to do the same thing as muttmaps.com
You click on the menu, and the listings appear on the map.The map
doesn’t disappear, and just show the listings.
The site also has a dropdown menu.
I can make a drop down menu in Appearance/Menus, but
my categories are not available in the menu portion.
The 1st thing should be in place already, let me know,
For the 2nd part, if you want to add categories below the CPT links, you will need to remove the listings links from GD >> design >> navigation.
Than create the top level CPT links as custom links from Appearance > menu and than add the CPT categories as dropdown menus.
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
awesome. Thanks Paolo. The menu works, but when a person
clicks on the menu; it goes directly to the listings.
I was hoping the map would not disappear
hi,
that means you are using the wrong links. You are using listing links instead of category links.
Thanks
Hi Paolo.
Everything is working fine except one last thing.
Example. I’m trying to do following.
Places/Activities
* casinos
* tours
* shopping.
I registered all these under Place/Activity; but when it say’s parent “in category” there is no parent to choose from. i’m confused.
