    Hi,

I’ve downloaded the sample data, and its amazing to see that we have all these new places in Nottingham, UK!

    Really though – it’s a nice touch.

My problem is with the Google Map plugin/whatever/thingy.

On the listing editor, the map is appearing and I’m able to drag the markers around no problem.

On the listing itself however, all I’m getting where the Google Map SHOULD be, is a loading screen for it, with no content.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

    Hi Ramon,

Have you set a category for the listing? If you can provide a link to your site i will be able to take a look.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

Yes, as far as I can see, the categories came over with the dummy data.

I also added a GDMap box to the homepage and there’s nothing in it either.

Heres a link to the site – now it’s going to be moved over to a new domain when I’ve worked out a few things – at present its at HERE

Thanks for the link, did you follow the exact settings as recommended here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/

    Hi,

Yes, the Autoptimize settings’ changes have made a slight difference – for instance the map is now showing.

However it’s showing as a full-blown worldwide map in all locations, making it a little pointless as a local map.

Also, if I go to ‘edit this post’ from the front end, there’s an error in the address latitude/longditude – ‘Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.’ – even though the address is filled in correctly.

Finally, using Autoptimize’s ‘inline ALL css’ settings is only recommended for small sites, with minimal viewers – is there another ‘autoptimize’ – like plugin?

Hang on – just found a setting in the widget itself, to zoom in on a location.

Set it to about ’12’ and all is good!

…just need an alternative to Autoptimize now…

Please check now, the problem was your “Async JavaScript” plugin.

    Thanks,

    What wonderful support!

Thanks Stiofan – looks like a whole lot of new plugins will be needed, but it looks superb!
