    Hi there,

when I try to add a new place on my website I cannot select a location category which is bad because it is a required field. This is what you have to do to reproduce it:

    1. Go to our add listing page: https://supscout.de/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
    2. select Germany/Deutschland as country (“Land”)
    3. try to select “Hamburg” as the state (“Bundesland”)

The last step won’t work as the state list is empty and the search does not find anything.

I use the current version of chrome.

The login credentials will follow in a private post.

    Thanks in advance
    Jonas

Please check your autoptimze settings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/autoptimize-settings/
Also your GD plugins need updating.
You can drag the marker on the map or start typing an address in the address field too.

    Hi Guust,

thanks for the quick response. I updated everything in the live environment and configured autoptimze the way you recommend (even tried deactivating it). However, the error is still there.

But I noticed that it works if Hamburg is preselected when you open the form. How you could reproduce it from where you are at:
    1. click “Hamburg Deutschland” entry in drop-down –> Country drop-down empties
    2. follow the steps descibed above.

I also just noticed that my PHP error log shows many of the following entries:
    —-
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_tax_meta() in […]/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_hooks_actions.php:3899
    Stack trace:

    #7 {main}
thrown in […]/wp-content/plugins/geodir_location_manager/geodir_location_hooks_actions.php on line 3899

Can that have anything to do with it?

    Thanks!
    Jonas

    The PHP-error is a separate problem (https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/php-fatal-error-on-category-listin/)

Any idea on how to fix the original problem?

Which of my GD Plugins is not up to date? The backend does not propose any updates (see screenshot)

By the looks of it the location manager at least, maybe you have this problem:

Thanks! Manually updating the listing manager did the track.
