    Hello,
I had the site going well and uploaded a few small databases…everything was going fine. I had over a 1000 listings… I then added a significant number to a category (5000) and now all pins are not showing on the map. The category shows the listing are present and I can go into them individually , but all pins are gone. If I uncheck the large category then the other category pins repopulate.
    Can you please help
    site is
preppergeodirectory.com if you want to see from front end.

It seems like you have added a “hospital” with incorrect data, which is breaking that category.
For example http://www.preppergeodirectory.com/location/united-states/ca/ works fine, so the “broken” hospital is in another state.

    Please also review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location

    Thanks

This is the listing with bad character in it:

    SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OF MIDAMERICA

There could be more, the faulty type is between MID and AMERICA.

Let us know how it goes,

    Thanks

Thank you both very much for the assistance. It’s ended up having multiple bad entries ( I obviously need to do better quality control on what I import). In the end I just deleted all the imported post until the pins began to show again. A chore, but it’s done now.Once again thank you for the quick reply.

I have a question that is slightly different, though along the same lines (as in I hope it doesn’t corrupt the databse :). In Custom Post types will I break anything if I edit the ‘Listing Slug, Name. and Singular Name’ For places to something else that better fits my sites them. I understand that I can edit the translate…, but as I don’t actaull need the ‘Places’ on the front end and would prefer something more tailored this seemed a reasonable approach. I just want to make sure that it wont corrupt somethin and cause me issues later when the site is live and popular 🙂

That should be fine, it will just change all URLs. Re-save WP Settings > Permalinks after you changed ‘Listing Slug, Name. and Singular Name’.

    Thanks

Great, Thanks. I’m occasionally getting this error. I’ve noticed that it is when I run a search for something that is not there….for instance I typed a random word and searched Dallas Texas and was presented this error. Do you have any idea what could be causing this.

That is a warning from a plugin installed at /wp-content/plugins/bsa-pro-scripteo
    You can suppress warnings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/help-i-get-a-php-warning-on-my-pages/

    Thanks

Excellent Service as always! Thank you. I did that and now it gives a white screen. My question is though that it would seem that it should give a no search results found page…or something to that effect as it will likely seem to the user that the site is broke. (this is all on the front end)

If you get a white screen, then you most likely added incorrect data.
I am guessing you added it to functions.php of your child theme, so use FTP to fix the file.
    Thanks
