Translation not working

    Hi,

    i followed your FAQ to activate german language files for wpgeodirectory.

    Wordpress is set to “German” in settings and translation-files are on ftp:
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirectory-de_DE.mo
    /wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirectory-de_DE.po

    Unforetenatly wordpress is not using the translation files.

    What can I do?

    GD is not compatible with Loco Translate and WP Fastest Cache:

    Please de-activate those and see if that fixes things. Let us know.

    Thanks for you fast answer. I did disable them, but it did not help…

    I changed your language at WP Settings > General from “Deutsch (Sie)” to “Deutsch” and it seems to work now.

    If you want to keep “Deutsch (Sie)” [not recommended] then all your languages files have to end in 

    [email protected]

    and 

    [email protected]

    instead of
    xxx-de_DE.po and xxx-de_DE.mo

    Please check. Thanks
