Hello – I have a site using GDF Modern and for some reason the footer copyright text I put in the footer options is not working on any pages except the home page. It does display on other pages, but not with the links, styling and formatting as I want like it does on the home page. I’ve spent a few hours trying to figure the issue out prior to inquiring but I’m out of ideas. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
The custom code I entered in GDF Options > Footer Styling:
<span style="font-size: 12px !important;color: #cccccc">© 2016-2017 <a href="http://LawFirmDirectory.net/" target="_blank">LawFirmDirectory.net</a> | <a href="https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/?ref=96" target="_blank">Powered by GeoDirectory </a><br><a href="https://conklinwebsolutions.com" target="_blank">Web Solutions</a> by <a href="https://conklinwebsolutions.com" target="_blank">CWS</a> - a division of <a href="http://conklingroupllc.com" target="_blank">Conklin Group, LLC.</a></span>
How it’s displaying in error on all pages (except home):
<p class="source-org copyright"> © 2016-2017 LawFirmDirectory.net | Powered by GeoDirectoryWeb Solutions by CWS - a division of Conklin Group, LLC. </p>
Displaying correctly on Home Page only:
<p class="source-org copyright"> © 2016-2017 <a href="http://LawFirmDirectory.net/" target="_blank">LawFirmDirectory.net</a> | <a href="https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/membership/?ref=96" target="_blank">Powered by GeoDirectory</a><br><a href="https://conklinwebsolutions.com" target="_blank">Web Solutions</a> by <a href="https://conklinwebsolutions.com" target="_blank">CWS</a> - a division of <a href="http://conklingroupllc.com" target="_blank">Conklin Group, LLC.</a> </p> </div>

I’m able to see the issue there. Looks like you’re still using an older version of the theme and child theme. Please update it and it should fix the issue you had there.
Thanks!
November 10, 2017 at 8:50 am #404822I’m having trouble updating the Geodirectory Framework. My license key wasn’t applied, so I did that, then tried to update via auto update, via uploading zip and etc.
I get this error, but am still trying –
Downloading update from https://wpgeodirectory.com/edd-sl/package_download/MTUxMDQzNjg4NjpmMzZjMDdjZDRmYzZjYjVmNTk0YmM1Y2I4M2RiYWY3Yjo2NTg5Njo1ZGM0NWUzYjlmNzNjNzcwM2JkYjA4NWUxY2NhYTc4ZTo6MA==…
Download failed. Too many redirects
November 10, 2017 at 10:52 am #404841You can try updating via zip file using this plugin recommended here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
Thanks,
Stiofan
November 13, 2017 at 7:02 pm #405131Thank you – I just completed an installation of the easy updates plugin and upgraded both the GeoDirectory Framework and the Modern theme by downloading the latest examples from here, and I am still having the glitch with the footer.
The styling is a little closer, as it appears the font and size are now correct. However, the links are broken and
<br>
isn’t working.
