    Good day,

I am using the plugin Geodirectory for a county website to show where to find playgrounds and walking tracks throughout the county.

The City of Shelby, NC is the main city in the county. When I start to make places that do not have Shelby zipcodes, I get an error message (see attached screenshot.) The majority of places are outside the city limits of Shelby

It there a setting that needs to be changed? I need to know as soon as possible in order to get the site live by April 1st.

    Hello,

If you already have Multilocations addon installed, then do enable multiple cities and regions to account for areas outside the default area.

Then be sure to adjust your GD Permalinks to include the full location in the URL.

Finally, after those changes, visit WP – Settings – Permalinks and re-save the settings there

We can take a look, just send over your site URL and WP Admin credentials so someone from our team can take a look at your settings.

    Hello,

it looks like the basic setup isn’t complete.

    Please start here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/

You will need to set pages for each of the settings at GD – Permalinks

You can create/fix them automatically with GD – GD Tools – Page Check

Each one should have a value.

Widgets like a GD Popular Post View can also be added to your listings page. See this for more information:

    Hi Amy,

Feel free to check out the GeoDirectory Experts Directory, there you’ll find several freelance GD experts that will help you out with the setup. http://geodirectoryexperts.com/

But if you want to give it another try, follow the steps listed here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/ and if not, start from fresh and we’ll guide you step by step from the beginning.

    Thanks!
