    Trying to install the theme Geo Travel form the zip file on my local drive. Received message “Theme installation failed.”

    In the Themes there is note that the installation is incomplete. Message “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “genesis” parent theme.” I did not see this on the GeoDirectory downloads page? What’s up.

    Thanks for your post. I’d like you to know that the Genesis Framework isn’t included in your purchase. You need to purchase a copy of the parent theme here https://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/ if you wish to use the “Geo Travel” child theme.

    Yes, just found that out and purchased it. Installed it.

    I thought that the Geo Travel theme once installed would have a similar looks to the picture on the GeoDirectory’s web site. My is showing only generic text. Do I need to re-install the Geo Travel Theme?

    I’m new to GeoDirectory and it is a bit more than I expected.

    I still can not see any theme as part of GeoDirectory. I have read the instructions that you forwarded, I beleive that I completed those steps. Help

    by only looking at your home page I can see that you did not follow the documentation provided.

    However I cannot access with credentials provided.

    ERROR: The password you entered for the username gdadmin is incorrect.

    Hi,

    other than installing the parent and child theme, you haven’t done what’s explained in this doc after the Preparation part:

    You need to setup the widgets in the widget areas and Setting up the home page.

    What’s preventing you from doing this things exactly?
