Hi there,

I use the Theme Geo Travel as child theme and have installed the Genesis Theme. I have made all settings as described in the documentation and imported the dummy data. The imported data sets appear, but everything looks completely different than in the Geo Travel Demo.
What do I have to do to have the same representation as in the demo? Is there also dummy data here? I guess something is wrong with my installation, but can’t find the bug?

Hi,

there are two big differences to the tutorial:

1. in my version of GD there is no checkbox to deactivate “Set geodirectory home page as your home” (see screenshot)
2. i cannot find the plugin “geodir_genesis_compatibility” on the download page

I think point one is a failure. If I do it through the Customizer, I can’t find a page for the GeoTravel homepage. Or do I have to create a new one?

2. You don’t need that “geodir_genesis_compatibility” plugin now, but instead you can use the Theme Compatibility settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
