    Hi,
I’m seeing a failure of location of categories. If I choose a category and a city nearby, nothing appears. If I choose category and I put zip code yes, it appears.

    Thanks

Search results – Searches ‘near’ a location are different than the listing pages that show ALL results IN a location, and are filtered for relevance. See this doc for more information .

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/searching-and-browsing/

To show more results for ‘near’ search change the default X squared setting at
GeoDirectory – General – Search – Limit squared distance area to X miles (helps improve search speed)

I’m sorry but this does not work, before it worked well. It only added a catgegory and later a city and found all the places that were near and by distances

Please send the search URLs to show the results, and the URL of a listing page that you believe should be included in the results and we can take a look at them.

Ok, I understand. I hope that in V2 it is different.
    Thank you

V2 works very much the same way.

You can increase the Square distance for search to make for more results if you like.

    GeoDirectory – General – Search –
Limit squared distance area to X miles (helps improve search speed) Enter whole number only ex. 40 (Tokyo is largest city in the world @40 sq miles) LEAVE BLANK FOR NO DISTANCE LIMIT
