Dear support, i’ve tried to use the Image Watermark plugin of dFactory
but unfortunately it seems not work on the listing upload. We need this feature on our directory. Have you some suggestions or other watermark plugin that can work with the framework ? We hope that you can help us
Thanks in advance and best regards
July 11, 2015 at 8:19 am #45307Hell, you can use this one and it works flawlessly, you can also set the post type.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-watermark/July 11, 2015 at 9:10 am #45312Hi Simone, I’ve installed it but unfortunately seems not work 🙁
I’ve setted all option but nothing happens.
July 11, 2015 at 9:11 am #45313You can see it working fine here, demo site with a listing created right now
http://test.simonetambasco.com/geodirectory/new2/london/aurora-dispensaries/test-listing-watermark/You need to enable the post type and set a position (in my example is bottom-right)
July 11, 2015 at 9:15 am #45314I’ve do it but not work. another strage thing is that i cannot see the image in media library @_@ but in the post yes. and also in the wp-content folder yes.
I try to investigate it something remain from the previous watermark plugin into the DB.
Thanks for support i will keep you updated.
Regards
July 11, 2015 at 9:17 am #45315That is strange, it might be due to some permissions problem then..
I did not setup anything complex to make it work., just installed the plugin , flagged the post type and set the position..and then created a listing with a new image uploadJuly 11, 2015 at 9:38 am #45318Ok, the problem of the non presence on WordPress library is only when i update an existing listing adding an image.
If a create new listing the uploaded image is visible on the wp image library.
But the watermark nothing .
The Folder have permission of 755. I’ve tried also a 777 but nothing
July 11, 2015 at 10:54 am #45321Dear Support, Easy Watermark Now works (there was the image offset set to 100 100 by default).
Unfortunately there are problems when you update listing.
1- if I update the listing and add an image I cannot find the image in WP media Library.
2- The watermark is not applied on the new image uploaded (i think that this is correlated to the point 1).
eg :
I create a new listing, select an image and publish it. (all works fine)
i see the image in WP Media Library and watermark is appliedif I update the same listing adding an image and republish it (problems)
The new image does not appear in the media library and watermark is not applied.
N.B In the listing detail, grid ecc ecc the new image is present but without watermark.
Thanks in advance
Best RegardsJuly 11, 2015 at 4:19 pm #45340Hi,
GeoDirectory adds only 1 image of the listing to the media library. Which is the featured image. All other images are not stored using the media library.
That is why the watrermark can only be added to the 1st image.
Thanks
July 11, 2015 at 4:43 pm #45348Ok paolo, understand, but this not solve our problem. Idea ? Suggestions ? Thanks
July 11, 2015 at 6:29 pm #45497Currently the system doesn’t provide such option, it would have to be custom built. I’m sorry.
If you want to suggest it here and many members vote for it we will consider it.
