Hello!
Recently, after the last update of the Supreme Theme, I started having problems with the theme on mobile, and I can’t figure out why. I think the issues are related. If you have any advice…
1. For a location with a long name, on mobile, in portrait mode, the location page is resized according to the lenght of the title and a white space appears on the right of the page. Please see image 1.
2. On any location page and on the home-page, when the page is viewed in landscape mode, the title of the page overlaps the header. Please see image 2.
3. The mobile score on PageSpeed Insights dropped from over 80 to under 20.
An example page is: https://www.italyscapes.com/location/lazio/sperlonga/
Thank you very much!
December 15, 2018 at 1:04 am #458663DO make sure you have updated all your plugins and themes, including the parent theme directory starter.
If that doesn’t fix it you can write back with a private reply and include WP Admin so that someone on our team can check out your settings.

Directory starter should be at 110
and Supreme Directory should be at 121The issue you are reporting has been fixed in recent release.
December 15, 2018 at 10:48 am #458712I don’t understand! Yesterday, I have updated Directory Starter from 1.1.6 to 1.1.10, the last version available here: https://wordpress.org/themes/directory-starter/, updated on December 14th. I was prompted to do so by WordPress.
And the Supreme Directory theme’s version is 1.2.1.
December 15, 2018 at 10:53 am #458714Hi Ovidiu,
Just double checked and you’ve the latest version of the theme. Are you still having issues? Maybe try clearing your browser/Website cache?
Thanks!
December 15, 2018 at 11:12 am #458717Hi, Kor!
I cleared every cache I can think of, and cleared the mobile browser cache as well. I loaded the page on mobile in many browsers (native Android browser, Chrome, Firefox, Opera), but the problem persists.
Thank you!

The Google Ads are responsive and I don’t think have anything to do with it. Anyway, I removed the widgets and the plugin itself, cleared the cache, but nothing changes on the locations pages.
I’ve solved the first issue by reducing the title font on mobile. I still don’t know what to do with the overlaping content on landscape mode.
December 16, 2018 at 10:36 am #458813Can you be more specific about the size/device you are testing with?
I just jumped through the chrome defaults for mobile and landscape looks OK now, so 1 and 2 look ok.
For 3 this could be related to the change to FA 5 JS SVG. You can try adjusting the FA Settings.

December 16, 2018 at 7:27 pm #458878Hi, Alex!
I’m testing on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, with a screen resolution of 1980×1080. I think it has to do with the content of the featured area, which doesn’t fit on its height. I sent the issue to a guy from https://geodirectoryexperts.com/. I hope he will help me.
I’ve tried to change the Font Awesome settings, but there is no improvement. On Desktop, my score is near perfection (98-99), but on Mobile, the score is around 20. About 2 seconds take to load the Font Awesome css.
December 17, 2018 at 10:53 am #458941Can you send an updated screenshot and point out the issue again?
When i view at 1980×1080 I dont see any issues jumping out at me.
December 17, 2018 at 11:29 am #458951Hi Ovidiu,
Could you try using the custom CSS code below and see if it fixes the issue you had there?
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) { .sd-homepage .featured-area, .sd-location .featured-area { min-height: 500px!important; } }
December 17, 2018 at 9:00 pm #459059Hi, Alex! Hi, Kor!
It seems the issue was solved. I guess the guy I am working with made something in css, and now everything looks fine. From what I saw, he replaced the units “px” with “vh”.
Thank you!
