The Add Listing page looks and works fine for events.
https://corncendev.wpengine.com/add-listing?listing_type=gd_eventBut it’s…fairly fubar…for my clubs.
https://corncendev.wpengine.com/add-listing?listing_type=gd_clubI haven’t monkeyed with the page, it includes teh default shortcodes
[gd_notifications]
[gd_add_listing]But here’s what I’m seeing:
Little help? Please and thanks.
December 28, 2018 at 5:51 pm #460329Hi Greg,
I alerted the developers, please provide admin and ftp credentials for them.
Thanks
December 28, 2018 at 7:19 pm #460347Thanks, will do.
December 28, 2018 at 7:26 pm #460353This reply has been marked as private.December 28, 2018 at 9:32 pm #460372Interesting. I just activated Social Importer. I was going to deactivate it because I thought it might be a variable y’all would have to consider in figuring out what’s wrong with this page, but to the contrary it seems to be the one field that appears fine on the Add Club page. So maybe that’s a clue?
I really hope we can resolve this ASAP. I’m very excited to launch my V2-powered site, and this is the only thing holding me up.
December 29, 2018 at 12:05 am #460415Basic Builders can’t be used on the Add Listing page yet.
We plan to do more work so that all the major builders work 100%, but at this time basic builders cannot be used on the GD pages and templates, only the theme builders.
More info about this here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/
This was discussed in a different thread here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/problem-changing-home-page-to-custom-build-version/page/2/#post-450270
Basically, specifically, the add-listing page has some logic in it that switches to the desired post type form, and that logic is not yet immune to the charms of builders and specifically BB.
I have flagged your topic for the developers to post back here when they have an update on the issue.
December 29, 2018 at 12:57 am #460421Thanks Alex, that’s good to know. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s the problem here, because I’m pretty sure I had this problem before activating Beaver Builder, and I know I still have it even now that I’ve de-activated Beaver Builder. Sorry.
My Add Club page still looks like this:
My Add Events page is still all good, so I got that goin’ for me. : /
December 29, 2018 at 1:07 am #460424Thanks for checking on that. Please leave the builder deactivated while the developers do some additional debugging.
December 29, 2018 at 1:21 am #460426Related question…
Is the ability to add an image no longer part of the add listing page?
I’ve hidden a LOT of fields on that page, via configuration and CSS, but never intended to hide image addition. I can’t find any place I’ve done that, and even when I delete 100% of my CSS customizations, it’s not visible. When I do a “Social Import” from Facebook it pulls through images from the event FB page which is fantastic and surprising given the lack of visible fields, but I’d like me and guests to be able to add images when filling out the form manually too.
I just checked settings and it is checked on/active.
December 29, 2018 at 1:32 am #460430From the look of the errors it seems like there is a problem with the CPT definition. We had a similar issue yesterday, but not exactly the same, on a V2 conversion.
When an issue has been flagged for the developers it is a good idea to make new topics for new issues.
December 29, 2018 at 2:08 am #460431OK, I’ll spin up the lack of image addition as a new thread, thanks for the tip.
December 29, 2018 at 5:20 am #460442Hey I just noticed something…
In the post types settings page, Events (“add listing” page works) has a Linked CPT of “Events”,
while post type CLubs (whose add listing page is fubar) has no Linked CPT.
December 29, 2018 at 5:22 am #460443Never mind, I’m dumb and got excited. The Linked CPT for gd_event is Places, which I don’t really use, and that makes sense because in events pages there’s the option to associate them with a place. I get it. Unrelated observation. Never mind.
December 30, 2018 at 11:09 am #460639Hi Greg,
seems the site os no longer available.
Let us know if we should take another look by reposting site details.
Please check if the form is working. You can disable error notices, we will fix real errors on major version releases.

December 30, 2018 at 7:43 pm #460700Hmm, I don’t know why the site would have come up unavailable for you, I’ve been working on it a lot the last 24-48 hours and haven’t experienced any downtime myself. But whatever, moving on to some good if mysterious news…
My Add Clubs form works now.
My theory is that while doing some work on the CPT, nothing with the _intention_ of addressing this problem, someting cleared cache or a setting that was missing got filled in.
