I have tried importing the GD Listings several times and it keeps erroring out.

It gives me this message: 3844 / 3844 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

I’ve scoured the internet, changed every type of setting, etc. and nothing seems to be working. Please help. Thanks!

Please try attaching zipping the file before attaching it.

Have you already reviewed the requirements here, and used LibreOffice to edit/save your file?

Hi Alex, thanks for your response. I’ve been at this for over a day now. I made all the changes it said in your link above and it still isn’t working. I’m getting disappointed with this purchase and wondering if I made a bad decision on purchasing this plugin. I even entered a place and did an export to use that layout for importing and it still isn’t working.. I’m at a loss. 🙁

Try zipping the CSV and attaching it to your private reply here and we will take a look.

You can include your original CPT export, too, so we can compare.

You can also include WP Admin and login url in case we need to check your site settings.

None of your listings has map coordinates.
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#mandatory
You can get the latitude and longitudes here: https://www.geocod.io/ but there are others too:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#resources

Because you only just added GeoDirectory to your website, we recommend for new sites to use the next improved version V2.
The CSV import in V2 will calculate the map coordinates itself.
We also suggest to start with small batches to make sure all is working as expected.

You can read more about V2 here:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/

    Thanks

Guust, your direction was very helpful. After I removed the old version and uploaded the V2 and all the new add-ons and everything worked. The CVS import worked and it looks like I’m all set. Thank you for your help.
