Hello:
I just started adding listings to my site and while checking them out and clicking around I noticed that when I tick on any listing it leads to the BuddyPress members page. When I go back and try to duplicate it again it goes to the listing. Sometimes I can duplicate it and sometimes I can’t. I have a client that has mentioned the same issue to me, but I was unable to duplicate it. However, he recorded his screen and emailed me the file. We both have the same plugins, but he is not on GoDaddy Managed WordPress, just Linux Cpanel @ GoDaddy.
Please advise and thanks in advance for all you awesome help and support 🙂
Cheers

BuddyPress FollowJuly 18, 2015 at 11:06 pm #46146I cannot replicate that on your site, if I click on any listing from a category page.
But I notice your location pages are not working and cannot get them sorted. Most likely the aggressive caching of your GoDaddy Managed WordPress setup.

July 19, 2015 at 10:18 pm #46181You can ask GoDaddy to move you to their normal servers or probably best to one of their managed VPS plans. That would be the simplest.
99.9% of normal hosting plans are compatible with GD, but none of WordPress managed services are.July 20, 2015 at 3:26 am #46183This reply has been marked as private.July 20, 2015 at 3:27 am #46184This reply has been marked as private.July 20, 2015 at 3:32 am #46185I might just have to use the Whoop! theme and I can be a flagship site for GeoDirectory.
I had 2700 registrations in one day and it crashed the site on go daddy managed wordpress

July 20, 2015 at 5:01 pm #46262Hi,
Your location page is redirecting to the home page. Make sure you don’t have a GD 301 redirect in your .htaccess file (301 Redirect /location/ //). If you have it please delete it.
From home page (locations) when I do a search it leads me to the BuddyPress members page
I’ve tested here:I’ve tested here and doing a search redirects me to search results: http://militarybuyers.guide/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
Also when taking a profile photo picture from mobile device or computer it errors out stating unable to crop image.
I’m not sure I understand this last question as GeoDirectory doesn’t offer cropping anywhere. Where is this happening?
Thanks
