Good morning,
I migrated from V1 to V2
Unfortunately I have some problems1) When I open a place already created with V1 to make changes, the button no longer appears to change the text Permalink
(But you can change the link from “fast editing”)
For new places created with V2 the button is present.2) You can not make changes and translate custom fields and GD image tags with WPML editor.
To make these changes to personal fields I have to open directly with wordpress editor
but I get the wpml message:
“You are trying to edit a translation using the standard WordPress editor,
but your site is configured to use the WPML translation editor. ”I make changes to campipersonali and tag images,
when I save I receive the same message as before.
At the end only the translations to the GD custom fields are saved
Translations to tags of GD images are not saved (they are lost).I installed geodir-multilingual-1.0.0.0-beta.zip
Template Directory StarterVersion: 2.0.0.4Greetings and Thanks Andrea

March 27, 2019 at 6:45 pm #476716Good morning,
I haven’t had any answers.
Beyond the previous problems, the photos of some places have disappeared, see image attached.
Trying to understand the cause, I noticed through ftp, which in the folder /wp-content/uploads/2019/02/foto.jpg
the images have disappeared (photo-150×150.jpg and photo-300×222.jpg there is)
I did not understand if this happens after the translation into other languages or after updates of WP.By making changes to the “place” pages with WPML text editor, changes made sometimes are saved and sometimes not.
Furthermore, the personal fields do not appear. If the changes to the translations, I do them with text editor WP the fields all appear, but the changes to the “alt” tag of the images are not saved.
Another problem, when I insert the code [ipanorama slug = “virtual-tour”]
I have the plugin “iPanorama 360” on places, in V1 it worked, on V2 it doesn’t work.Greetings Andrea

2. Image titles and captions cannot be translated, as is also the case with comments. A customization for translation with Google is an option but outside of support.
3. Custom field translation is covered here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/multilingual/#custom-fields
4. You can try adding that to your shortcodes field. See: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/customizing/#custom-integrationsApril 16, 2019 at 1:10 pm #481112Good morning,
Unfortunately I could not understand when it occurs.
Also because you don’t immediately notice the error.
The images are still present in the browser’s chance.
when I understand, I’ll let you know.I saw the page: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/customizing/#custom-integrations
to insert shortcodes, but failed.
In which file should I enter the code? Thanks for your help.
April 17, 2019 at 12:14 am #481230In the tabs UI you can add a shortcode:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/tabs/April 17, 2019 at 8:20 am #481285Thank you,
it’s useful, but my problem is another,
unfortunately I don’t speak English.I have to insert 360 ° images in site (with V1 it worked – after migration on V2 it no longer works.)
to do this use the “iPanorama 360” pluginExample I insert scortcode:
Campo all’Aia Apartments Raffaella [ipanorama slug = “flats-raffaella”]but in places geodirectory does not work!
if I insert the code in wordpress article pages it works.April 17, 2019 at 2:40 pm #481369Shortcodes can be inserted into HTML fields.
Have you tried that?April 17, 2019 at 3:59 pm #481399After updated geodirectory to Version 2.0.0.55 has changed
if I insert scortcode in the description page it works
if I insert scortcodes in the personal field it does not work.tried the same html
April 17, 2019 at 5:03 pm #481417Sorry I didn’t provide the full info.
Open up your HTML custom field and show the advanced settings.
Choose the option to render embedded media file URLs.
That will also render shortcodes.
Be careful! If you allow listing owners to edit the field they can add shortcodes that may break your layout! -
