Hi, not really sure whether to put this in core or V2, I’m trying to follow the steps to upgrade my site to V2.

However whenever I move the GeoDirectory folder via FTP to backup, the site just goes off straight away and I get a 500 error.

Any idea why GeoDirectory would instantly kill the site when it’s removed?

I’ve tried a few plugins just to make sure, only GD does it unfortunately.

Why the 500, not sure, would need to enable debugging to see the error: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#500

Try moving the addons first before core.
You can also disable the addons first, then GD, then move them to the backup folder.

Managed to get it working, not sure how though. I assume I had some sort of caching enabled somewhere.

    Thanks for your help
