    Hello,

I am a little confused about the proper Timezone value of the Business Hours module.

It defaults to +2, which in my case leads to an incorrect display of opening hours. I testet +1 and that value works perfectly fine. Is it possible to set the default Timezone of the Business Hours to +1 instead of +2?

    Regards,
    Martin

TDLR; This is the +/- hours of the location of the listing from UTC (excluding any summertime changes)
This value should be set when the location is set and is there to manually adjust if needed.

    Hello Guust,

I have added the snippet via snippets plugin but the time zone still defaults to +2 (note attached screenshot). As a workaround I changed the description text to „please enter +1“, but this is kind of a poor workaround.

    Hello Siofan,

unfortunately I could not find any options to set the value during location setup.

I think what Stiofan means, that as part of the listing, the timezone can be adjusted depending on the location of the listing, see image.
It can also be adjusted by admin in the backend by editing the listing.

What is your setting at WP Settings > General > Timezone?
Did you pick a time or a city?
I am not sure that affects it, but let us know, then Stiofan can comment.

The functionality is also described here:

    Thank you guys!

My Timezone City is Berlin, and it is 2 hours ahead of UST. After logging in with a newly created account on a different computer I am happy to report that the code retrieved from this topic: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/gd-v2-0-0-55-business-hours-issue/ actually works and sets the Timezone default value (customizable by user as mentioned in #484510) to +1. I guess this solved my issue.

    Regards,
    Martin
