I have attempted to upload a large amount of companies to our GeoDirectory database and most fields are incomplete.

At this point we have been struggling for a couple of weeks to get the import to accept all of our info so we have decided to just input manually for about 2,500 companies.

The addresses are all blank. When we attempt to add a real address to the Address field we are forced to accept generic addresses instead. For example, the address 7429 Laurel Canyon Blvd, N Hollywood, CA, 91605 will default to, “Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Hewitt, North Hollywood” which is obviously not an actual street address but the street itself.

Attempting to save this without using the suggested default generic address gives us the error, “This field is required” even if we manually move the map marker and force the text 7429 Laurel Canyon Boulevard into the field.

This is occurring on multiple companies so it isn’t just this address.

    Hi!

There are literally thousands of services on the web that you can use to reverse geocode your listings in a CSV file.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=help+reverse+geocode+csv

A complete address is required for import.

However, if you have been working on it for 2 weeks already, then, maybe you want some help. Try anyone in our directory here:

    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for your response!

Actually we were attempting to import the information we already had, including both Long and Lat coordinates, and those fields are still blank in the plugin after multiple attempts at importing. In fact phone, address, and essentially all of the other fields are blank too except the company name.
