Geo Directory causes 502 Error

    Since the upgrade of WP to 5.2.1. there appears to be a conflict with the GeoDirectory which causes a 502 error stopping the site appearing. The WP dashboard does still work but disabling the dashboard results in most associated plugins to fail to load so it is impossible to use the plugin.
    Hopefully you can find the cause and issue an update as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    The dashboard addon is now built into GDv2 so is not needed or compatible with GDv2. Also the GD affiliatewp addon is no longer used for GDv2, that is now an addon for WP Invoicing.

    Try disabling those two and let us know how u get on.

    If you are seeing messages about GD not being installed it migh be that the plugin folder is wrong, it must be exactly “geodirectory” for the WP active plugin check.

    Hi CLARK,

    I saw the issue on your site. the issue cause by wrong setup.

    1. 502 issue

    Geodirectory related pages are being used as templates in Geodirectory. so they can’t be set as homepage or so.

    We have already disabled the selection for those default GD pages.( check attachment )
    In your site the GD location page was set as homepage.
    So that causing the 502 issue.

    I have just changed the homepage to sample page and everything working perfect.

    I will see if i can reproduce such casee

    2. About map issue, I just done 2 dummy places entry from setup wizard and you can see map looks allright

    so may the listing you entered seems have some data problem.

    I will also suggest to use setup wizard while doing Geodirectory setup. It helps to avoid common issues.
