Can't save edits when approving a new listing or an update

    Hi,

    when a user creates a new listing, I as an administrator have to approve it. When I do some minor changes to what the user has submitted, like adding or removing a category, put some spaces between phone numbers, correct the zip code, etc… whenever I click on Save as Pending or Publish, none of my changes are saved. I cant seem to edit anything.

    Hi Kor, the listings are created by users. I then get an email that a new listing was created and have to publish it. That’s where I can’t seem to add small changes to the listing, as an administrator. Do you mean you want admin access to have a look in the backend? If so I will add that in a private message.

    Hi,

    tried a few things out and it seems the following is happening:

    1. Listing is in Pending Review
    I can edit things, but clicking on ‘Save As Pending’ or ‘Publishing” disregards all changes I made.

    2. Mentioned as above, listing is in Pending Review and I do changes before I want to Publish it. All changes are gone when Publishing.

    3. Listing is Published. Now I can go in again and do changes. By clicking on ‘Update’ all changes will go into affect.

    So it seems that as an admin, I can only edit listings that are in Published mode.

    Is this done intentionally or should i be able to edit listings in Review status as well?

    Thanks for your report on that. You should be able to edit listings in any publish status.
    I have flagged your topic for the developers to take a look.

    Hi Alex,

    I just tried to help someone with their logo. I can delete the logo that the user submitted, but I can’t add a new one. The upload doesn’t give an error, it just doesn’t show.

    I checked the issue locally. it’s not seems as bug on local.
    but I can reproduce the case here https://getdirections.asia/
    seems like site specific conflict for now.

    I will explore and get back here with further update.

    Hi Tony,
    1 – The issue related to logo images is fixed https://getdirections.asia.
    the supported file types was not selected for logo image field.
    after updating the field now seems working fine for pending listing.

    2 – Fields data not getting update for pending listings
    I can see now fields are getting update properly for pending listing.

    can you please take a look now?

    Hi naveen,

    thank you very much for the follow up. Sorry about the image file types. Not sure why or when that happened as we uploaded logos before.

    I tried to edit and save a few listings in pending status and it seems to be working. Thank you very much.

    seems the problem is back. I can’t save anything unless a listing is published. I didn’t make any changes, just updated plugins.
