Hi, I am initially using GD for one city only (though I have LM and LS turned on as i plan to expand to other cities soon, I will set up only one city initially)
I shall also be geo-locating on first site load, and have customised to select the city in LM based on Geolocation
Now, I also want to hide the ‘Near” field in the search bar, and instead always default it to “Near my location” since geolocation will be done initially. I want to do this so that the “Distance to post” is always displayed in the search results and resutls are sorted based on proximity.
Is there any easy way to always set “Near my location”?
    thanks, Vivek

That would be a customization. It could be done with some Javascript.

Thanks, Alex. Came across this thread on the forum- would this also work?

    Hi vivek,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, that post is referring to the older version of the GD plugin and it’s not applicable with GDv2. It would require customization as mentioned by Alex to achieve this.
