Hello, I have made two packages for add listing. With the free plan user can upload 1 file. But with the paid plan I have set limit of 5 files to be uploaded. When user select paid plan and on the section where are the images it says (You can upload unlimited files with this package). User is able to add 6 or more images (tested).
I’m logged with admin account when I’m testing this, but I thought that should be working with this account also. Is there another setting that can control the limit of the uploaded files that I am missing?I have screenshots to prove it.
Best Regards,

I don’t know how, but there is bug with this “Images” field. I add now from Standard Fields file upload and set limit to 5. This works fine. But uploaded images are not showing in the profile as gallery photos. There is shown only the default that I have set. I’m using not admin user to test this, it’s normal user subscriber role. Also now when this user published place with the test mode for payment gateway It seems now that this user don’t own the listing that he just been published. Oh, I am just starting to test this and I see it difficult.
June 15, 2019 at 11:33 pm #493160Вhen user is adding a listing I’m trying to be automatically claimed by him. To not see the additional button “claim listing” when this listing was just added by him. I add in the fields “is claimed?” and set Default value as “checked”. But again after adding place looks like it’s not.
June 15, 2019 at 11:52 pm #493163I read this post but dosen’t help for me.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/claim-listing-generally-unchecked-though-per-default-checked/This field is not seen from the user front end. I don’t know if it have to be seen. I just need new listings to be claimed by default.
June 16, 2019 at 12:51 am #4931661. You did not allow the “Claim Listing” on a price package, I allowed it for both packages now. See image 1.
2. The upload limit in the Images field is for when you do not use Price Packages. If you do use the Pricing Manager, you should set the image limit in the packages.
Places > Settings > Packages tab > Choose to edit any of the packages > click “Show Advanced” > Image limit.
See image 2.
I fixed your settings, please test and let us know. Thanks
June 16, 2019 at 9:50 am #493195To add to Guust’s reply, the key for the default image field is post_images. It is to this field that the image limit applies. Other limits are not available to set in the price package, only within the field itself.
You can do soemthing clever, though, by making multiple image fields, lets say images_gold, images_silver, and allowing the gold package (premium?) to access the images_gold field.
We have recently recently some powerful updates to the GD Post Images field. Each GD Post Images element can now display the images from multiple fields. To set that, you will need to access the advanced settings of the element, either the shortcode or the widget or block.
We have a doc describing the configuration here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#custom-images
You can display more than one image field, just separate them with a comma.
June 16, 2019 at 7:47 pm #493274Guust, thank you very much. I was sure that I am missing something in the settings, but I didn’t find what was it. Now I understand how it works.
Alex, thank you for your suggestion. Yesterday I was about to cut the images field and add only file upload fields for images in the free and paid packages. But I wanted in listing detail page to show images like slider gallery and I didn’t find a shortcode that can do that except [gd_post_images] with type images. I saw how to show them in tabs, but the result did not satisfy me.
I checked now the link that you wrote and see how to show the logo in [gd_post_images] instead of images. Thank you.
If I create file upload field can I set it and show images uploaded there with shortcode [gd_post_images]? If I set the “Field key” a name like “images_gold” and then write this in shortcode – image type: images_gold?
Honestly I just checked this and It’s working so [gd_post_images] can show custom file upload fields.I have another issue…
June 16, 2019 at 7:56 pm #493275Do I have to write here or start new topic as this one is resolved?
My issue is that now when user add listing it’s not shown in the my listing page and also when it’s in the listing details page there is no Edit button link.
June 16, 2019 at 10:19 pm #493287I added the GD Author Actions widget to the sidebar so users can edit their listings.
Your Profile page was not set to show Listings at
UsersWP > General > Profile Page > Choose the tabs to display in ProfileThanks
