Error when trying to activate addons

I am trying to activate the Location Manager, and I get this error:
There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin.

The main plugin is installed and activated.

Hi Ana Quezada,

Thanks for your post. Could you please double check and make sure that you’ve installed the correct version of the https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#version . Make sure the addon you’re trying to install belongs to GDV2

Yes, installed from https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/
Purchased

Reinstalled fresh GD and same error

I was able to figure it out. I downloaded using the link provided in the purchase email. When I downloaded from my account it solved my issue.
