    Hello,

I am trying to bulk import listings, but when I try import the listing categories it doesn’t work with the category titles. The only way I was able to get it to work is by using the category ID in the upload file. This is very frustrating because it requires a few extra steps. Is this my only option?

Note, I created all of the categories ahead of time.

    Thanks,
    Ethan

Yes, that is the only option in V2.
Exporting your listings, will give you the correct format.
    Thanks

Okay, how do you format these category IDs in excel? For example, many of my listings have more than 1 category and so SHOULD they show up as xxxx, xxxx, xxxx, xxxx all within the same cell. However, this is not the case – Excel treats this as a very large number and changes the position of the commas as a result.

You should not use Excel exactly for that reason.
    x,y,z is the correct format.

    From https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/

Note: You can only edit the file with OpenOffice or LibreOffice Calc. Other editors leave artifacts in saved files that make them unreadable.

    Thanks
