Fields in "Add New Listing" not upgraded

    Hi there,

    Upgraded from V1 to V2 and building out my test website before we go live.

    When I go to add a new gd_place I am getting asked to fill in most of the fields I had in V1 – but some of them have errors in them and I can not add them.

    Are all fields for a gd_place not automatically upgraded or is there something else that needs to be done?

    This is also causing an issue for the viewing of listings too – for things like Phone Number – since they are stored in a “renamed” database column they are not displaying.

    Great – looks well. Can you tell me what the fix/issue was – here is why 🙂

    I am going to be wiping and rebuilding my development box from GD v1 to latest version again using all the steps I documented in this first pass (thanks for all the help) so I assume this issue will happen again…. and then again on go-live to the production website.

    One thing on this – just unit testing here…. and it seems that since this change (I cant say for sure since this change but it seems to be the case) the email address on the listing where an enquiry was going to… is not longer receiving emquiries.

    If you send an enquiry to this listing for example:
    http://www.preschools.ie/jobs/ireland/county-dublin/dublin-19/child-minding/tester-2/

    The site BCC email comes in OK
    The “Submission Confirmation” email comes in OK
    But the email to the actual business listing email address does not come in OK.

    Any suggestions?

    Use the ’email log’ plugin from WordPress to check to see if the email is created. If not please make a new topic and we will help you with the issue.

    Thanks – I installed email log and when I send an enquiry I get 2 emails in the log – not the expected 3. I get the site BCC one and the submission confirmation to the sender.
