    Hi, I found this css snippet

    #geodir_price_package_5 {display: none;}

    here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/admin-listing-plan-hidden-from-front-end/

    Can the css be adjusted not to hide the entire package from front-end but to hide only the Place description for a specific package in the front-end? I tried the following but it did not work:

    #geodir_price_package_7 .wp-editor-container {display: none;}

    I am not sure I understand. That CSS is for V1 and will not work for V2.

    Please share the page URL and maybe a screenshot of what you are trying to hide.

    Oh ok. One of our packages offers the clients the option to pay us a monthly fee to load and maintain their listing/s for them at an extra monthly fee. When the user selects this package we want to hide most fields except User login and password, Place name, address, city & postal code. We can exclude most of the fields under package options, or make them admin only, but not the Place description field which we understand is normal and expected. So we want to hide the Place description field with css only for this package. In fact, preferably we want to hide all these fields with css as not to exclude them from the package. See screenshot.

    If you hide it with CSS then it will never be visible. If you use a specific package, it will still be hidden with CSS every time that package is edited or created. Were you going to edit from the backend? The CSS is slightly different but it would still have some effect.

    If it is not possible with css or a function to hide an element for a specific package then we will have to do with it as it is. The article I referenced just made it look as if it could be possible to hide things per package. Thanks for your efforts.

    Well, of course you can with the Packages settings. I’m sorry if I misunderstood.

    Please see these settings to include or exclude fields based on price package.

    Hi Alex I am well aware of those settings and mentioned them earlier, however not all fields can be controlled in that way. There is not an option to exclude the Place description field from a specific package.

    Yes, there is only the option to control max characters through Packages. It is a special field in that it is a default WP field, and the only one with a configurable character count per package.
