We would like to have a variety of sponsors and advertisers involved with our Directory and I was wondering if there was anything pre-built into the system for that.
Meaning, is there a header, sidebar widget, footer area, shortcode, etc., that you would recommend that we use to display banners and ads from our sponsors and advertisers?
For example, I would like to have a company sponsor all our San Diego listings. However, so far, the only thing I see that we could offer them is a logo on the San Diego location page.
What I’m looking for is a header that could stay for all the listings in a specific CPT, category, and location.
Our overall sponsor can have their logo with ours at the top of EVERY page, but it’s the category and location sponsors we need to figure out.
(I’m not sure what we’d do with an overlap – like if a certain category and location came up together, but I guess there would have to be a heirarchy of some kind.)
Perhaps the best solution is through the use of sidebars.
We are using Avada – the best theme I’ve ever used – so it gives us lots of options. Would your system allow us to put different sidebars with different CPT’s, categories, and/or locations?
Any advice you have on benefits we could provide our potential sponsors/advertisers in our Directory would be greatly appreciated – either those built into the system or some fairly simple customization ideas you might have.
