Map posting on non GD Page

    Hi, I want to add a map in a sidebar of a WP page and have it show a particular GD Listing location and directions to that location. I can add maps via the GD map widget, but I can’t figure out how to make it show only one particular listing. What am I missing?

    I don’t really understand those instructions at all.

    I’m using Elementor. When I add the GD Map widget on a WP page, I have the option to show all posts (I have not clicked that) and then underneath that is Post ID. I put in an ID I found on the url of the place when editing it, but that does not appear to change the query of the map and all locations are shown.

    Hello,

    you will want to use a ‘post’ type map, with a shortcode like this:

    

    
[gd_map width="100%" height="425px" maptype="ROADMAP" zoom="0" map_type="post" post_settings="1" post_id="111" marker_cluster="1"]

    

    Change 111 to the id of the appropriate listing.
