Category Description by Location Not Saving

Hi,
I’m attempting to write individual category descriptions for each region and city but it does not appear to be saving, when I return to it it is blank and checking the URL shows the default description rather than the location specific description.
Also, is it correct that the category URL is sitename/cpt/category/region/city when the permalink structure is set up as sitename/cpt/region/city/category.
The listings URL run as per the permalink structure, is it by design that the category URL’s are in a different order?

this is usually caused by a plugin conflict. Please try a conflict test and let us know how it goes.

I disabled all non-gd plugins and switched to 2019 theme and was still unable to save specific category descriptions per location.
I have read the link you provided regarding the permalinks but that doesn’t explain if the category permalinks should be ordered sitename/cpt/category/region/city when the permalink structure is sitename/cpt/region/city/category and this is how listings permalinks are displayed. I just want to confirm that with categories the permalink structure is different so the category is before the location.

This has been fixed and it will be in next release of Location Manager.

Updated, I assume they were recent updates as I did check prior to posting. I’ve just checked to see if the issue persists after the updates and it does.

Regarding the permalink structure, is sitename/cpt/category/region/city the correct structure for categories as category and location is the reverse of the permalink structure. It’s fine if this is how it should be for categories, I just want to make sure it’s not an indication of an error somewhere.

February 25, 2020 at 10:41 pm #532248That permalink structure is missing the cat_base_slug and also indicates you have hidden the country in the location tab settings.
/CPT_SLUG/CAT_BASE_SLUG/%category%/%country%/%region%/%city%/

I’ve noticed that the category description is no longer saving as html, I’m sure it should/did previously.
Also, I’m unable to update the Rank Math keyword, titles & meta in categories now. I can change the content but upon updating the category it doesn’t update.
