Ah great thanks Stiofan. Got a method of sorting it now. We’ll add an example in the ‘near’ box on the search tool for now.

I’ll look forward to the update for the search to recognise the DB locations as that will be very useful and iron out future wrinkles.

Thank you for explaining re: the location switcher too. We’ll look at that, and see about adding back in again.

Cheers Stiofan – much appreciated again

    Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for looking in to this. Unfortunately that hasn’t done the trick. I’ve also been adding the location manually but it’s still not revealing any seach results – despite their being a number of organisations and other custom post types in the vicinity.

Previously we weren’t happy with how the location switcher was functioning on the site so removed it. It doesn’t seem to have caused any issues, but I’m very keen to know if there are likely to be problems associated with not having it.

I don’t think it’s the lack of location switcher that is causing this particular issue right now as all other locations (already in the system or added) are working.

    Wave your magic Stiofan!

    Hi Paulo,

I’ve updated all the Geo plugins. It’s now stating that the location already exists when I attempt to manually add it. It’s still not being listed under the ‘manage locations’ though and therefore not showing through the search. Any other suggestions…

    Many thanks

    Louise

    Hi Paulo,

Thanks for looking into this. The credentials have been upgraded to admin. The login should now provide you full access.

    Many thanks

    Hi Guys,

We have this issue on Adventure Eyes too. Many of our listings are coming in with Vimeo links and for some reason these are not showing on phones. Any ideas?

    Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for getting back to me. The server support are currently looking into it too. I will add you on Skype and if possible hopefully we can talk tomorrow afternoon.

I’m glad the front page opened quickly for you. It’s actually working through the wp-admin that’s causing the issues for us at the moment.

    Hi Guys,

We’re still having major issues doing any developments using the framework and the plugins. The CPU limits are no longer an issue. Yesterday I disabled the autocompleter (following purpleedge’s observations) that improved the load time a little. The other plugins are all in use so these haven’t been disabled.

Today however, the site has seized completely – for the past 2.5hrs it’s successfully loaded approximately 3 pages. Please can you offer some suggestions ASAP as at this rate we’re going to have delete all of the GD files and attempt to return the site to its previous state. We’re adamant that GD is a fantastic way forward and looks brilliant and will be perfect for this site but we just can’t get it moving at the moment. Please wave a magic wand…

Yeah – it’s super slow to say the least! It is shared hosting but they’ve increased the limits while we make the site updates.

The framework and plugins were downloaded a couple of weeks ago, so I presume that’s the latest version. It was also updated today.

I’ll have a go at disabling the plugins and see what happens with that. Fingers crossed…

    Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I’m not sure re: WHM. I will send through log in details.

    Hi there,

I’m having the same issue with not being able to delete fields on custom posts. The ‘close’ x is displayed but doesn’t delete or close the field. Similarly when I tick the ‘show nowhere option’ the field still displays. I have only just installed the plugin (with framework). Any ideas?

    Thanks
