Just had a brainwave! I had recently changed CPT listing slugs as part of an SEO tidy up – one CPT listing slug was changed to the same as the content page slug. I will fix. Please close/delete this bug.
Sorry! This reply has been marked as private.Ah, I had a suspicion it might be something like this. It’s a shame, as despite OSM’s nice appearance I don’t think I can use it while it doesn’t have the coverage of google. Thanks for your work in tracking the issue down though.
Adrian

This reply has been marked as private.… and I just tested all 3 email accounts I used to register the failed attempts – all working fine …
No – It didn’t work for me again (the part-registration is shown in Users>manage signups though). No email log for it either – but also, I see that email log didn’t log your successful confirmation email either! (unless you deleted from email log?)
Otherwise I wonder if the issue is cookie-related – that fact that I am using a computer that has already registered a user? Could this somehow be stopping an email being sent to register a 2nd person at same ip address? Prob not?
In any case, that is three failed attempts to three of my different email addresses and one successful on yours – any ideas?
Yes I saw. Neither of my previous attempts worked though – I will try again with another email account and report back …
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks guys – I was concerned that it might not be working on my site despite having been fixed. I will wait for the next release.

Thank you Kiran,
and what about the clicking on the ‘pinpoint’ at the right of each result in the list? Currently it just scrolls page to top of the list – will it make the pin bounce too or does it do something else? (I think the pin used to bounce when the cursor hovered over the name of the listing in the search results)?
thanks,
Adrian(ps – am I right in thinking it hasn’t been fixed on my site yet – in the past my site has been fixed when I had a development problem and the fix was later released generally?)
Thanks Paolo.
