    Thanks Guust,

have made the changes and it works. As lonewolf points out, there is a potential alignment issue: in GDF Modern, the bullet discs are offset to the left of the left text margin. In GDF Modern there is space for this and it looks OK – better than a right indent actually in my opinion.

… bullets are also appearing in (bbPress) Forum list widgets – probably elsewhere, though haven’t looked all over site yet.

    Thanks

    Hello,

i just came across this fix as bullet points weren’t working for me when writing static pages (I am using GDF Modern). This code makes bullets functional, but also adds bullets to the GDF>Welcome Login widget that I have in GD Header Right widget area. Can I enable bullets in static pages without doing so elsewhere?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

That appears to have fixed it – and without having to login to my site or have admin access!

Thank you Paolo – and you guys have a great weekend 🙂

    Hi Paolo,

I didn’t provide admin access as I wasn’t asked to!

I didn’t volunteer it as I am conservative when it comes to handing out admin privileges, since I have observed that when this is done there are sometimes changes made by technical support people (not neccessarily GeoDirectory folk) that had not been requested or expected! (‘security, security, security’ is a mantra I often hear/read – and try to follow).

In any case, the only css operating is what is in Geodirectory + GDF Modern Child + my Style sheet that was shared above – am I wrong in thinking this ought to be enough to allow re-creation of the event?

I will go and try the CSS now.

    Thanks,
    Adrian

    Thanks Paolo,

I’ve also started playing with the background header image controls in the GDF Modern Options (not sure how I missed them before!) – I should be able to get something I am happy with.

    OK thanks Simone,

I’m drifting into questions I should be posing elsewhere …

finally though, in terms of uploading a background header image into GDF Modern, what guidelines would you suggest in terms of file format/dimensions/aspect-ratio for the image that would make it likely that the background header image would resemble the original image – at least on most computers?

OK, that makes perfect sense – and also perfect sense for me to have the login:Dashboard widget of that page as well then.

    Thanks,
    Adrian
