Regarding the event price filter mentioned previously in #2 above, I figured out that if you put “0” in the “Starting search range” and the “First search range”, it defaults to “$10”!!! Ok, I can live with that and start my price ranges at $1. It doesn’t accept .01 either.
But then, why would there be a difference between “starting search range” and “first search range”?
But more importantly, I want people to be able to filter by FREE and not just “less than $1”. How do I do that?
Sure, “less than $1” includes FREE but is not as neat. Thanks.

Why does it show “FREE $10”? I wanted it to show “FREE” if price = 0. See attached images. I want the range to be FREE, Under $20, $20 – $40 etc… Some people will only want to look at the free ones.If you click on the price filter, the drop down starts with “FREE $10”. Why is that and how do I fix it?

#1 KEEP AUTHORS FROM DELETING: I only found on instance of gd > author in the archive item template and I updated it to:
[gd_author_actions hide_delete=”1″ author_page_only=”1″]
However, the “delete” option is still available from the author page. See attached image.

I plan to remove it but just want to make sure I’m not missing anything. What could it be used for?
#4 If someone is logged in, can I put a button that allows them to edit their own post from the detail page? Or do they have to go to their profile menu?
#5 How do I force log out everyone out? The only scenario I could think of where this would be necessary is if I make a change that only takes into effect when a user logs back in. Are there any such types of changes or other scenario where I might need to do this?
#6 LIST STYLE IMAGES
What are the list style images (Alex mentioned on 12/29) that are supposed to be removed with the code he provided? I added them to my custom CSS and didn’t notice a difference. Of course, I don’t know what I’m looking for…. keep in mind, I am a total novice.I thought they were the profile, photos, and map icons circled in the attached image.

As far as the file limitation, I get an error on upload. I attached an image of the error on my initial post on December 18th. It simply says “Error: Please retry”. I will look around for the file size setting and contact my host if I can’t resolve it. Thanks again.
Hi Thanks for the reply. I did read it that same day. I have just been spending some quality time with all things Geodirectories lately as I try to launch my new site! 🙂
I have everything set up accept for payments so here are all of my questions at this moment. The error I was initially experiencing was caused by the image file size… see question #4 below.
#1 Is there no real shopping cart where items stay and can be edited or removed? How can I add that? Is there a plugin for that?
#2 Alternatively, how do I create a “My Listings” page that allows user to see their listings and the publication and payment status of each listing? So that they can re-initiate a payment for a listing instead of re-creating the same listing and creating pending duplicates for the admin?
#3 Is there another way besides coupon codes to give a recurring listing member free access to another type of listing that isn’t free? For example, I plan to sell a “Full Access Membership” for place listings. For those who purchase it, I want them to be able to post events and other custom post types for free, although those other plan aren’t free individually.
#4 I tried uploading different size images to my listing from the website and it would appear that any listing containing an image greater than 500kb returns an error from the website. Is that a geodirectories limitation or my host? From the wordpress admin backend I can definitely upload much large files than 500kb to the same geodirectories listing.
#5 What would you recommend I use to recreate a support forum like this on my website? Is there a plugin for that?
