I am using the Listima theme, which has this split screen view in the location page. It doesn’t show the shortcode for the map on the right side. Only the codes for the stuff on the left half. The shortcode for the map seems to be stored somewhere else, maybe in the page template?
Anyway, I added the shortcode to the left side, and it doesn’t make any difference. It still only shows one CPT at a time. I don’t think that it is an issue with the shortcode. It seems to me that system wise, I only shows one CPT at a time.
I tried to post a reply, but I can’t see it. When I try to post it again, it says “It seems like you already said that.”
Ok, I figured out the problem.
Steps I performed:
(1) Export all the data and check the status of the tables
=> All looks fine. No messed up data. Apparently, the system will drop all the tables from the import data it doesn’t recognize, and is able to identify the correct columns for the values, even if they are not in the right order. At least for me it was the case.
(2) Nevertheless, I trashed all the data except the test-CPTs.
=> No change
(3) Trash test-CPTs and re-add test-CPTs manually.
=> No change
(4) Then I added one listing in your default CPT “places” and that’s when the location view started working. Apparently, it only recognizes the default CPT “places”.
This seems to be in line with the problem I have already posted here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/show-all-cpts-in-location-page/This user has run into the same issue:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/custom-post-type-configuration/So, the issue seems to be, that GeoDirectory doesn’t show ALL the existing categories and CPTs in the location view. I only and exclusively shows the first CPT that is available on the site.
The question is then: How do I get the system to include ALL existing CPTs and categories in the location view?
Hi Kor,
thanks you for the prompt reply!
Yes, I had checked the permalinks already. I have tried to change and reset them properly as well, with no effect.
Another idea:
The import table of the data had two additional columns at the very end which I would like to retain, because it allows me to link the records to our main database. Might that be a problem?
Do the columns in the import table have to be in the exact same order as in the export tables? This might be a problem, because in the export tables the columns were in slightly different order for the different CPTs.
Wonderful! Everything is fixed. The category menu as well as the broken maps. Thank you!
I have tried to import data from CSV, which seems to have worked. But the map views are broken. The map either doesn’t load at all, and stays grey, or – on the details page – shows some area, which is definitely another country. See screenshots.
Hi Alex, the settings in the screenshot are the ones that are active already.
It happens out of the box though. Fresh WP install on XAMPP localhost. Installed Listima plus child, and then GeoDirectory. And immediately the category menu shows that kind of behavior.
I’m only on my localhost.
I’d have to duplicate the site on the webserver somehow. Haven’t done that before though.
Or is there a way to “upload” the site to you? E.g. with a duplication plugin?

Do you have a link to a documentation of the new widget?
Hi Alex, thanks for the reply. I think there is a misunderstanding.
My problem is, that I would like the *map* on the location page to show all the existing place types (aka CPTs) at once. So far I am only able to display only one place type at a time.
