The Location Manager addon needs be installed to add listings to places outside the default location.
If you have already installed and activated, check to make sure you are using a 1.x version, not a 2.x version. 2.x is for GDV2, and V2 addons are not compatible with V1.
If that isn’t it, we can take a look, just make a private reply with your WP Admin credentials and we can check the settings for you.
You have changed theme, is it showing now?
Please share WP Admin if you would like us to take a look.
The translation method is the only way to do that. Editing po files is the best way to do it without slowing your site down with additional plugins.
You will need to translate core and the Location Manager addons.

that is a location page and it will use the settings for GD Home and the home page.
Try the settings at:
Geodirectory – Design – Home
Then for widgets, add widgets to the GD Home widget areas.

The above modification should not be necessary with V2. Please let us know when you get a chance to try it out.

have you checked the option:
GeoDirectory – Listing Claims – Options – Show link to author page on listings?
It looks like yes, because this other listing that is claimed has the link: https://veganlinked.com/services/united-states/north-carolina/shelby/neofilm/
If the listing is not claimed, then the profile image is not linked.
There is a separate option “Listing is claimed” in the backend editor. If the author has been set, they user may not have checked the option in the frontend form for “Business Owner” -> Yes
