Tags can be added in a working install. Price Packages can be used to limit the total character length.
To check if tags can be added, add tags to a new listing through the frontend, then visit the listing with an admin account.
Edit the new listing with the backend enditor and confirm the new tags.

If this is not the case on your site please reply with WP Admin credentials and your site URL in a private reply and we will check the settings there.

If tags appear to be cut in mid word or are disappearing this is likely because of price package options.

GDB was created to provide a guaranteed cache solution for GDV1 specifically because many cache solutions do not support sessions. GDV1 requires sessions to be enabled on the server.

GDV2 has been redesigned to work without sessions, and so GDV2 should work with any cache plugin, and so GDB will be retired.
