Hello,
there is a problem with the categories. For example for Activity categories, Football and Football both have the same id and slug.
If this is not setup with different IDs through WPML then the widget doesn’t have a way to tell the languages apart.
Once new cats with different IDs are created, the new ids will need to be applied to the listings.
Please see: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/
Hello,
Try it again now.
Enter ‘bars’ in the search field, then type ‘phila’ an select the one in Pennsylvania.
This is the default behavior.
Hello,
there was a problem with the map icon for providers so I reuploaded it.
Now the providers map is working. You can try the setting for “Autozoom” on the Home Map widget.
Most of the pages in the GD Permalinks were blank, those have been restored.
You can add a GD POopular Post widget on the GD Home Content below the search to show a list of listings.
If you remove all places and place categories the places will no longer show up, if you just want to show providers on the site.
Hello!
It looks like there is still some setup to be done.
GeoDirectory works with widgets; try adding a GD Home Map and GD Popular Post view to the GD Home widget area at:
WordPress-Appearance-Widgets
About the search results, could you send the URL for the page so we can check it out, that would help.
About Places and Practitioners, sorry the search is always within one CpT at a time.
Happy to help 🙂
That is not possible without a customization, with an example of one approach here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/recurring-events-and-event-widget/#post-230536
Hello,
there should be pages being created automatically from templates, like:
https://www.site.com/location/united-kingdom/greater-london/
Right now, your settings appear correct, and I don’t see any obvious reason the pages are not being created.
To address that issue, please try a conflict test: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/troubleshooting-guide/#conflict
The URLs created by GD may not match your original structure.
The page you linked above is a search results page, whereas the ‘location’ pages created by GD show all the listings within a given location (city/region/country).
OK, we will take a look and provide an update here.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.About your import, though, have you verified that the image is available at the expected location? Is the image 404? If it is, is it because the image is in the wrong place, perhaps?
In your example, the image has a 404 and says it should have a URL like:
/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/930_acu.001.jpegHave you placed the image in that folder?
This seems to be a duplicate, let’s continue the conversation here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/list-featured-image/#post-440546Cache works by keeping a copy of your files.
GD Cache can be cleared by selecting “Clear cache” inside the plugin settings.Kor’s advice is very good; try disabling all your cache while working on your site, or be prepared to clear the cache whenever changes are made to CSS (or many other items).
Cache can always be re-enabled later.
