Awesome!
To customize the template for the blog you or your developer can edit the blog-page.php within the child theme folder.
When customizing a child theme it is recommended best practice to change the name of the theme so that it will no longer receive automatic updates.
Hi Leigh,
It looks like you have created a CPT called ‘event’. This name/slug is reseverved for the event manager addon Events CPT.
Here’s what I think you might try.
Option A – Use the events manager addon
1. Export the event CPT listings and categories
2. Delete the event CPT listings and remove from trash.
3. Ativate the Event Manager Addon
4. Import the categories and listings to the event CPT. You will need to alter them a bit to ad a date. You can export a sample CSV first.Or Option B
Export the event CPTs, delete them and the Custom Post Type
Create a new post type that is not called event/events
Import the listings into thatHello,
I’m sorry but we don’t have control over what Google does when they create those titles or snippets inside their own DB.
As Dirk says, using the available tools to make ‘the best’ titles and meta you can is the best that is possible.
Hello,
I did try it and got a ‘no address found’. I am not seeing an error from the Google Maps API, so I have flagged this for the developers to take a look.
You will need to submit your app for review, to FB.
More information is available here:

Generally we do not undertake customizations here in the forum but they will take a quick look and see if there is an easy fix for what you are trying to do.
Is it possible to view what it would appear like on a search like we can with yoast?
You would need to view the source code of the page and search for the meta tag you want.
individual listings title and meta, also does this remove yoasts keywords from category pages and so forth?
This would be the “DETAILS PAGE META SETTINGS”
Yes, if overwrite is selected, then it will overwrite Yoast settings. There can be only one meta title and meta description.
Yes, the GeoDirectory plugin is built to scale so it should not cause you any issues.
Always be careful not to add plugins you don’t really need.
Here’s an article with ore info about that and other ways to keep your site speedy:
Please post WP Admin login credentials so we can take a look.
Thanks
Hello,
directions are calculated based on the lat/lon, and then a geocoding of the lat/lon for that last instruction, as opposed to the address itself.
You can move the map point closer to the actual address, or use “Set address on map” to set the lat/lon in exactly the right place.
Allrighty, then 🙂
Quick intro for translation Find the addon, open the languages folder, open the PO file with POEdit, search the string, change it, save it to (desktop, another location), upload the PO and MO files to wp-content/languages/plugins, done.I misread your post, my apologies.
Please share the URL to the page so we can see what is going on there.
Mobile view should trigger a single post per row automatically.
Clear cache on the phone in the site settings.
1. Add place URL looks ok: https://virtualweddingvenues.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
2. The claim listing link for the Supreme Theme is part of the author information on the detail page, which has been hidden by custom CSS in the Customizer. Remove this to show it:
