“Featured” is a button near the Price Package options, available through the backend editor.
Select a listing, click “Edit” in the WP admin bar, and then look on the right side to find the “Is Featured” Yes or No option.

please check the login information above, I am not able to login.
Hello,
You can check to make sure all your events have categories and other required fields like address filled in.
The login info is not working for me. Please validate and repost so we can check the settings.
Oh, no, you should not just go ahead and install them because they wll not work with V2 until they have been made compatible.
There is no issue with starting your site with V1, the upgrade should be relatively painless if you are just working with the plugins as-is.
July 12, 2018 at 9:41 pm in reply to: Listings not going to draft and reminder emails not being sent #438197Are the listings that are not sending emails still on a recurring package?
Please send over an example of a listing that meets the criteria above, it could be a test listing, so we can see the settings in place.
Don’t forget to include WP Admin so we can login and check the settings.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
did you add the neighborhood in
GD > Multilocations > Manage Location
Thanks for pointing that out. We will take a look at improving that.
1. There aren’t any options to adjust it visually. Have you already examined all the options in the advanced search pane for the fields you are talking about? You can adjust those to be OR.
2. I am not sure what you mean, can you say more about that?
Once you have the Pricing Manager installed it is possible to configure price packages, where Silver, for example, is not featured and Gold package, for example, which costs more, is featured.
Then you can add a Popular post view widget to showcase featured listings on top of the Home or Listing Pages.
If you want listing owners to claim and edit their listings as well as pay for them you need the Claim Manager and the Pricing Manager
You need to open the link in a browser that is not logged in, like, the incognito browser used to find and claim the listing.
Copy the link from the email into that browser and it should work.
It won’t work if the user is already logged in.
It is possible to rename a child theme so that it is not updated.
It is possible to update manually, too, with this:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
Running a stage/test site where updates are tested first is the best practice.
The franchise manager addon was designed for that case. It allows the listing owner to ‘lock fieds’ so they just need to update one listing (potentially) but the information is shared to multiple listings with different locations.
None of our team is in Manchester.
When I use the location switcher several times in a row it does not switch back to ‘Everywhere’.
Try clearing your cache.
There isn’t a setting for this, partly because one of the features of reviews with the Whoop theme is that owner comments are highlighted and users can interact with the listing owner.
That said, a member did volunteer a customization for this here:

If you need help with that then you can contact a GD Expert to help with your customization here: http://geodirectoryexperts.com
