Hello Support,

Automated updates scare me, especially because I’ve customized Supreme Theme a lot and cannot have a grand-child theme.

is it possible to have non-automatic updates (plugins, themes) and be able to see that an update is available and have the option to update if I click “update” ?

It is possible to rename a child theme so that it is not updated.

It is possible to update manually, too, with this:

Running a stage/test site where updates are tested first is the best practice.

By default themes or Plugins don’t automatically update.
