    You could use a Popular Pos View widget and limit it to Featured.

    You can also sort by featured as the default sort or an optional sort order:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting

    If you want to sort by price package:

    ” The location/me page reloads itself (loads “location/me” once then flashes) because it is loading nearby features.

    This is the expected behavior. Please explain the issue and how we can see it.

    I see “location/me” as translated.

    Please explain the issue. What are you trying to translate?

    That sounds like a good plan, to give featured status to member listings and give them a higher priority on listing pages.

    Is it possible to somehow automatically list a business as “featured” when they become a paid member through a membership plugin? And have the expiry date for the paid membership automatically align with the expiry date for a paid listing?

    This is possible in theory but depends very much on the features of the membership plugin. Some members report having less of a need for developer help with S2 Members, but in any case this is not an integration that works ‘out of the box’ with GeoDirectory. Setup, time and attention is needed and in most cases some developer support.

    One other way to do it is to export all your listings on a weekly basis and then mark/unmark the related listings as featured and then re-import the listings. If you had a list of business listings to adjust that might be the very fastest way to do it. This might also be the least overall effort if you have an up to date list of members.

    If you create the membership function on the same site, you could allow the users to make the change themselves by selecting a package that makes their listing featured.

    If you don’t use the Pricing Manager addon, but another membership plugin instead, then it would require matching their account to a listing and have an admin adjust it manually. In most cases a customization would be required to make an automatic adjustment happen if the membership is being handled by another plugin without the Payment Manager addon.

    The Pricing and Payments Manager addon along with the Claim Listings addon are designed to make this as effortless as possible for site managers so that your members can manage their own listings.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/category/addons/

    If you wanted some sort of automatic adjustment for featured status, and the membership function was on another site there is an API, so another application can make changes to your GeoDIrectory site listings. A call could be made to edit a listings, in that case to change the featured status. In this case you would need to at least know the listing ID.

    Very much depends on how ‘hands off’ you want the experience for your members. Do you have more ideas about that?

    Hello,

    please share a link to the page so we can try to help with that.

    In general, ‘special’ pages like the home page or a category listing page will have a body class that can be used to target CSS to a specific page. This isn’t always the case, but for GD pages it is.

    What CSS is required, though, depends on the page.

    As an example, this will target a widget on the home page when using the Supreme theme:

    .sd.home .widget {
        display: none !important;
    }

    For more about custom CSS see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/

    That is not a built in feature, to display custom fields in the backend list of listings.

    I will flag your question for the developers in case they know of a way to do that.

    What did you mean when you said

    when I added pagination

    Why did you need to remove as you said

    geodirectory > geodirectory-functions > custom_fields_output_functions.php on lines 1190 and 1192-1194

    I think we are trying to understand what you were or are trying to achieve and what made you think there was a bug.

    Are you trying for some kind of special pagination on the GD Home page?

    The options for the ‘add restaurant’ links are on the page:

    Design – Navigation (Tab)

    You will see the options to add links to the menu. Try those out until you find the combination that works best for you.

    Glad you got the theme installed!

    You can turn off the setting to redirect to nearest location on first time load. I don’t understand if you want it on or not, but it is not the default behavior.

    The location/me page reloads itself (loads location/me once then flashes) because it is loading nearby features.

    I see location/me as translated.

    I will flag this for someone else on our team to see if they have a different experience.
