Are you talking about bbPress posts?
* Can the filter for forums and post be implemented in the advanced search bar? now only this place and events
I have not tested this, but it looks like there are articles about how to set it up or you can contact the plugin authors: https://www.google.com/search?&q=wpbeginner+setup+buddypress+and+bbpress+integration
* Can a list of the author’s post appear on their profile or an author’s page?
Again, untested, and probably a good question for the plugin authors.
If you decide to move away from BuddyPress take a look at our fast and lightweight UsersWP with bbPress integration: https://userswp.io/downloads/bbpress-2/
Hello,
check the settings at GeoDirectory permalinks to make sure you have select a page for “Login”.
If not, create a new page and assign it there.
Also, make sure you have set WordPress to “Allow anyone to register” at WordPress – Settings – General
However, none of these might be your issue. Your menu item may be pointing to the wrong page, so check the link and make sure it points to the page you set for “GD Login”.
If these options don’t meet your needs, please make a private reply and include your site details and we will be happy to check your settings for you.
Also, have you seen our plugin for beautiful profiles? https://userswp.io
Hello,
My problem is that everything works great for linking employee to a business. It creates a tab and they’re all listed there. Until I create an event linked to that business, then the employee tab goes away and there is only an events tab.
Is it possible to have both tabs, one linking to other CPTs and one to Events?
Only one linked CPT tabs will appear at a time, and events has priority. So, if events is linked, then the linked employees tab will not show. As soon as events are linked, then the employees tab will show up as a text link in the sidebar.
What exactly does the pricing package Link to CPT do and how does it relate to the other setting? It is not addressed in the pricing documentation at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/prices-and-payments-add-on-overview/
You have it configured correctly. In the pricing options it is considered a feature, and is most often used with events. Meaning that if a certain listing owner buys a certain price package that includes events, then they can link to events. If they don’t have that option in the price package, then the linking option is not visible on the event page when they add the event.

It looks like the “Category” field got marked inactive and not required.
I remedied that and now the multirating is applied, but only after I added a category to the listing.
Make sure all your listings have categories, and double check to make sure it is one of the categories specific to the multirating.
In this case categories can be used as a ‘premium’ type feature for paid listings, meaning that the listings in certain categories can receive the multiratings.
It is not necessary, but you can try it and see if you like it.
Some people choose to make a custom rating image, too. Lots of options to make the directory fit your niche.
This reply has been marked as private. For the first one, that looks like a widget title.
It looks like you hae a custom CPT called ‘venues’.
This reply has been marked as private.Yes, if a user logs into WordPress, then they are also logged in to GeoDirectory.
Hello,
can you send the page URL so we can see the element?
It might be possible using the translation method:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/can-i-change-place-title-and-place-description/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/
It might also be just a widget title that you can change in the widget settings.
Hello,
it is not possible to run two copies of GD on the same site.
However, it is possible to use the Custom Post Types addon to create a listing post type specifically for restaurants, and then use custom CSS to style those restaurant listings differently.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-post-types-add-on-overview/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/If you need hands on help to set that up consider contacting a GD Expert:
https://geodirectoryexperts.com
Each custom post type has independent categories and custom fields so they can be designed specifically for hotels or restaurants.
