you need to modify the file inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php
to be reapplied after each update of the theme.

For code snippets, you can use the code snippets plugin to allow the theme to remain as is.
We recommend not to edit the core plugin files.

If you are trying to migrate a GD site to a new host, you will need more than the WP Export.

You would need to open up the code in the plugin to find where it is wrapping up the values to be called by the listing in GeoDirectory and alter it there.

you can download GDF and a GDF child theme from https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
GDF Modern is also a child theme of GDF
DIrectory starter is not needed.
You can install GDF then install the child or GDF modern (Child)
