The detail page already has a map, and changing it will require customizing the template.
Using it on a non-GD page works as expected.
The add listing page shows, and I was able to edit a test listing.

The mobile menu works without the concept of hover.
You can change all the text on the site. If the string is not in the settings, then it can be changed via translation.
Start with translating the GD Core plugin

Just copy/paste the links from the current menu.
Once they have been added as custom links, you can then disable the navigation links in the GD Navigation settings.
I added one so you can see an example. (Add Place)

Please try and less us know.
Incognito is ctrl-shift-n in chrome.

Have you already tried using a custom select field in the search bar?
That is very odd behavior indeed.
We would be happy to take a look at your settings to see if we can find the problem. Please disable any cache running on the site and check again.
Also be sure to have completed all the steps for configuration, and do check to see that your plugins are all up to date.
