    Hi there,

would it be possible to use CPT Tags as filter in the search? Basically the same thing explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#cat but for tags?

    Thanks a lot,

    Simone

That is not an available feature at this time.

You can add a feature request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/

It helps if you share in the feature request about how you are using tags.

You could also share that here and we might be able to help with other ideas.

Have you already tried using a custom select field in the search bar?

    Hi Alex,

thanks for the answer! At the moment I’m using a custom field (and the relative select field) to filter my listing by the products that those businesses sell.

I’d like to convert that field into Tags so that I’ll have automatic archives for each product.

At the moment I noticed that there’s the Taxonomy field Category, but not the Tag one. So I will have to manually update the tags for each future listing. Am I wrong about it? Is it possible to link a custom fields with tags?

    Thanks,

    Simone

Tags cannot be used as advance search filters, I’m sorry. It should be possible with V2 though.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

thanks for the answer! I read some posts about V2, it looks great.

On that will V1 still be supported? We are working on a quite big project using it and I was just wondering if it’s a mistake still use V1.

    Thanks a lot,

    Simone

    ps: sorry for the off-topic

    Hi,

V1 will be supported only for security issues for a while after we release V2. Moving from V2 to V1 won’t be difficult as far as the database is concerned.

What will change are templates and style, so if you have graphic customization, you’ll need to bring them over again.

    Thanks
